Net Revenue Bob Baxter Jason Numerator: Prior year growth minus current year growth
Growth Theadore Dr. Brian Denominator: Prior year growth
Peerless Net Operating Revenue (system) and Net Patient Revenue (region) are reported
based on Mercy Health’s internal financial statements. This is measured as the %
YTD improvement compared to prior year.

Readmissions divided by expected readmissions and includes all patients with unplanned
readmissions within 30 days of index admission for those conditions identified
in the HRRP (Acute MI, COPD, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, Heart Failure,
Pneumonia, Hip & Knee Total Joint Replacement). Performance period for this
metric is 12/1/2016-11/30/2017.
Primary Care Michele Montague Number of primary care practices meeting the access target. The access
Ambulatory target is a composite of the following metrics: Slots/hour, office visits/hour,
Access % slots restricted, Press Ganey Access Domain, Average 3rd Next Available
Appointment, and MyChart Activation.
Opioid Jon Fishpaw Number of opioid epidemic targets achieved. The metrics tracked are: # of
Epidemic Denyse Ferguson ED facilities w/ SBIRT in place, # of ED patients receiving SBIRT scoring, # of
Dr. Larry Graham community outreach events, # of hospital-based facilities with drop boxes,
exploration of partnership with Brightview, warm handoff in place with a partner
facility, and opiate free ED.
Not all metrics are applicable for every region.
Primary Care 6 Dr. Amy Frankowski Number of Primary Care 6 targets achieved by regions. The Primary Care 6
Measures Michele Montague consists of the following measures: controlling high blood pressure, breast
cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, diabetes care: controlled HbA1c,
pneumonia vaccination status for adults over 65 years of age, and diabetes care:
medical attention for nephropathy.
